Languedoc is one of the oldest wine-producing regions in the world. Situated between the Pyrénées Mountains and the Rhone valley, facing the Mediterranean Sea, its vineyards offer a diversity that few regions can offer in the world. Vignobles Jeanjean holds its name from the Jeanjean family, a family that has been promoting the Languedoc appellations and fantastic wines for 5 generations. Mas de Lunès is one of the 7 estates that make up Vignobles Jeanjean, and this is the cradle, this is where the first property was acquired in 1936 in a very unique scenery: the 45ha of vineyards are planted on 1000ha of scrubland (garrigue), there is no neighbour, the beauty and serenity of the place is just breathtaking. The estate is planted on a unique geological soil, a layer that is called E6-G, a soil made of pebbles on a soil of red clay and limestone. The Estate is organic and this wine is also vegan-friendly.
